What I learned:
- Though they often caused people to respond in unpredictable ways, photos of strangers, placed in an open and inviting context, can evoke the curiosity of strangers
- Despite their content, the photos made me more approachable to strangers: they were able to get to know me through the pictures, and the enjoyment of discovering the live person in the pictures was equal to if not greater than interacting with the pictures themselves
- There are potentially three components to this system: the observer (user(s)), the object (interface), and the subject (myself)
