Scenarios:

To implement my "network", I came up with the following possible interfaces, all of which provide a way for potential clients to get information about tutors and/ or troubleshooters that can help them:

  • An informational CD-ROM (good for people who can't or don't know how to access the Internet)

  • A functional web site that has two faces: one face that is extremely simplistic and pared down for people who log in to search for help (they would be guided by a friendly voice-over and use keys on their keyboard in place of a mouse), and another face that is more complex (or normal) for people who log in to post a computer help profile

  • A web site that interacts with an autmoated phone system: The web site would be for tutors/troubleshooters to post their profiles, and the phone system, run by a computer, would get information from clients who call and retrieve profiles that match their criteria
