SEEKING ACTOR FOR ONE-OF-A-KIND ROLE IN NONLINEAR VIDEO PROJECT
My thesis project is a unique web-based virtual experience
that explores the interrelationship between thoughts,
emotions, and human experience. It features a "universal" man
who absorbs the collective consciousness of its users and
society at large. His face, available for viewing 24 hours a
day, displays a variety of evolving emotions based on the
thoughts he receives and the experiences created from those
thoughts.
I am looking for an actor, preferably male and in his 30s or
40s to play the part of this "universal" man, who epitomizes
the look of someone who lives and works endlessly in the
American suburbs - an "American Splendor" type who has both
melodramatic and comedic capabilities in displaying facial
expressions that will be recorded in a special way on video
tape. This is quite different than a typical linear
narrative, and will involve only a few hours or less of
performance time in front of a blue screen.
In return, I can promise you a personal video copy of your
performance in context to add to your reel.
If interested, please send a response to iaspangler@yahoo.com
with a headshot and resume in electronic format.
Thanks!

Hi Ian,
My name is Andrew Kepka - I am an MFA Candidate at The New School for Drama.
I am really interested in your project as I have had similiar feelings about being a "universal man" or "every man."
Attached are headshot and resume.
Thank you for you consideration.
Sincerely,
Andrew
